Full Systemic Enzymes are similar to Hybrid Systemic Enzymes, but they have an enteric coating that allows them to completely bypass the harsh environment of the stomach.  A high quality enteric coating will allow the enzyme to begin to break down in the upper region of the small intestine so that it can completely dissolve and be absorbed in to the blood stream.  Some Full Systemic blends have a pH resistant coating that is only able to break down once it has reached the middle of the small intestine.  These blends have very little digestive benefit.  However, newer enteric formulations allow for breakdown in the upper small intestine (duodenum), allowing for some upper intestinal digestive benefit and still offering over 95% availability for blood stream absorption.*
